Steve Etminani - Principal

Steve Etminani is the founder of RCP Development Company, a Washington, DC based institutional development company. Steve has been actively involved in the acquisition, financing, development, asset management and disposition of numerous institutional-grade residential and mixed-use projects in the Washington, DC area. Steve's experience includes over $700 million in real estate transactions, creating over $300 million in value. Prior to the formation of RCP, Steve was the Vice President of Development and a member of the Executive Management Committee for Atlanta-based Post Properties, Inc., where he was responsible for all acquisition and development activities for the Washington, DC region. Prior to joining Post Properties, Steve was the Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for Dallas-based JPI Development, where he was responsible for activities in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania markets.

Steve has served on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute - Washington District Council, and the Washington, DC Mayoral task force on Transportation Oriented Development. Steve's projects have won numerous local and national awards.

Steve has lived in the Washington region for over 19 years, and earned his BBA degree from George Washington University and his MA from George Mason University.
